The IV International Festival “Piano Transcription: History and Modernity” will be held at the “Na Kislovke” Concert Hall on November 30 to December 9, 2011.

The Festival will include 10 concerts including works of B. S. Frankenstein, A. P. Isakova, I. V. Olovnikov, K. S. Kornienko, B. B. Borodin.

The students of the Central Music School and students, graduates students and pedagogues of the Moscow Conservatory, as well as those of Russian and international music colleges and universities will take part in the concerts of the Festival.

Professor of the Moscow Conservatory A. M. Merkulov is the author, composer and leader of the Festival.

With the participation of Otari Ochkhikidze.

Concerts begin at 18.30, the concert on December 8 begins at 15.00. Entrance is free.
