More details on the organ

The Concert Hall “Na Kislovke” is located on the 2nd floor of Central Music School Dormitory, an old mansion that used to belong to Count Konstantin Petrovich Sukhtelen. The family of Alexander Sukhovo-Kobylin, a famous playwright, rented the mansion during 1838–47.

Master classes and concerts of the teachers’ classes, as well as various concerts and other events are held at the Concert Hall “Na Kislovke” of the Central Music School. Also, since 2007, Valery Kikta’s International Competition of Organists and The Competition of Organists within The Nicolaes Bidloo Festival of Young Artists for three age groups have been held at the hall. (Nicolaes Bidloo was the court physician of Tsar Peter the Great.)
